5 StarsBad Cop by Liz Kelly is book two in her Heroes of Henderson series. Vance Evans is a small-town cop but not much of one. Along with being a cop he is also the head coach for the Henderson High School baseball team and also runs his own multi-million dollar company and he is a major playboy that usually only sleeps with the same woman once. When Vance was a in fourth grade, his mother abandoned him and the only person that helped him out was a girl named Piper Beaumont, then Piper disappeared. Piper is now a defense attorney that goes after cops that abuse their power because of something personal that happened to her when she was in college. When Vance & Piper’s paths cross again the sparks start to fly. Will Vance’s Good Cop attitude win Piper over or will he have to win her over with his normal bad cop behavior? This book was awesome! This book has some sexual content, and no violence. This book was very well written and was a very quick and easy read. I absolutely loved this book and had a hard time setting it down. I highly recommend it this book!

Ever since reading Good Cop, I was waiting for Vance's story, and I was not disappointed. I loved the emotion Vance and Piper evoked in each other - from their childhood memories, to their up-and-down roller coaster of today. Very sexy, and so funny. It was also great to visit the Henderson gang again. Keep 'em coming, Liz Kelly!
Omg still rolling! The friendships that are truely families. These characters return me back to same small town I grew up in. I enjoy the respect, love, & compassion they all have for each other with whatever journey they are taking. Liz Kelly I Love this series and you have made me a huge fan! Can't wait for next one!

Well, I first read Good Cop. I enjoyed it so much, I just had to go out and get the next book. But after reading Bad Cop, I found myself with an impossible choice to make. Which cop did I prefer? Well, I choose both, and you will too! If you love a sexy read full of fun surprises and a mix of human emotions tossed in for good measure, then what are you waiting for?
Just finished Bad Cop, totally worth the wait. Loved Vance and Piper was a great match for him. Vance was equally ridiculous and charming. The whole Pinks, The Outlaw, Brooks, Duncan, and Vance friendship/internship was a good time. I would definitely recommend if you have read the other books. Had some laugh out loud moments, enjoyed it. The real shocker was the set up for the 3rd book, Tansy's story. Oh my, can't wait to see how that plays out. Looking forward to Top Dog.
I laughed and laughed and loved and got little teary eyed, too. All the best elements rolled into one. Same for book 1 as well (which I read in the in the Passionate Kisses 10 in 1). And I'll be looking forward to all Henderson stories and the 'guy with shots' who aims at their hearts. I most look forward to the laughs, chuckles, giggles - they're good for my abs!
The womanizer, but vulnerable, Vance met his match in little Piper. He had to come to terms with his personal issues and hung ups as well as learn to trust again. It was a story of many missed opportunities, but great do-overs. A fun and enjoyable story that offers more than just a steamy romance between the main characters. The heroes of Henderson are indeed intriguing and offering lots of fun, laughs, surprises and real emotion.
There were also interesting developments with other characters that set the scene for Top Dog
